CHRIS BROWN'S PROBATION REVOKED

Breezy hasn’t been having it easy. Chris Brown's felony probation in his 2009 assault on Rihanna was revoked on Monday (December 16), but the R&B singer will not be facing jail time.

Brown is currently living in a California treatment facility, where he is about one month into a three-month court-ordered stay after being arrested in Washington, D.C., in an alleged assault on a young man. According to The Los Angeles Times, an L.A. judge ruled on Monday that that assault charge violates his probation.

Judge James Brandlin ordered Brown to continue with his current regimen of rehab and community service, and to take his prescription medications (not including marijuana). The 24-year-old was also instructed not to leave California except to travel to a January 8 hearing in D.C.

According to a report by E! News, Brandlin said he is pleased that Brown has "made improvements and positive behavior change in the program since his arrival. He is participating in multiple daily group and individual therapy sessions, including anger management."

Additionally, Brown has "been taken off medical marijuana and is taking psychotropic medication as prescribed." Random drug tests for amphetamines, cocaine, MDMA, PCP, opiates, marijuana and benzodiazepeneshave, have come back negative.

Brown's sixth studio album, X, remains one of the most anticipated releases of 2014. Also on Monday, Brown released another new track expected to feature on the album: the Lil' Wayne and French Montana-assisted "Loyal."
