Eminem To Release ‘Shady XV’ Album On Black Friday
Slim Shady is set to make his return. Eminem announced Sunday (Aug. 24) that his ninth album will be Shady XV and is due this fall. The release date: November 28th, aka Black Friday — which coincides with the 15th anniversary of Eminem’s major label debut, The Slim Shady LP.
Em teased the Album title by wearing a T-shirt with its name during the last stop of “The Monster Tour” with Rihanna at Detroit’s Comerica Park on Saturday (Aug. 23). However, the official announcement was made in a trailer for the Denzel Washington crime thriller The Equalizer, which aired during Sunday night’s MTV VMAs
“Blink and you’ll miss it… #VMAs #SHADYXV,” tweeted Em.
Following the announcement, Eminem released his new single, “Guts Over Fear” featuring Sia.
