Juicy J Sued For ‘Bandz Make Her Dance’
The Memphis artist has found himself in a situation surrounding the single “Bandz A Make Her Dance”.
Juicy is currently being sued for the music video as he apparently did not hold any rights, therefore leading to accusations of copyright infringement. Creative Dream Productions are behind the lawsuit, claiming that the entire production was released without their permission after they had shot the video in its entirety.
The lawsuit states that Mahad Dar was the original owner of the video, leaving columbia records without any rights to release the single, which they went onto do anyway. CDP are now applying their best efforts to prevent Bandz existing for sale, and unsurprisingly they request full profits, not just for the visuals but the hit record too.
It wasn’t only Juicy that left CDP feeling some type of way, Lil Wayne threw the team off their plans after arriving late for the video shoot and justifiably demanding a TV to watch the olympics. Having to alter their plans and relocate to a different establishment, the aforementioned reasons were clearly enough to infuriate the complete CDP team.
